Publication Ethics
The Journal of Nutrition and Health Insights is a peer-reviewed journal that follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to address all aspects of publication ethics, particularly in dealing with cases of research and publication misconduct. This statement describes the ethical behavior that must be followed by all parties involved in publishing articles in this journal, including authors, editor-in-chief, editorial boards, peer reviewers, and publishers. The Journal of Nutrition and Health Insights is committed to following best practices in terms of the ethical publication, correction, and retraction of articles. The prevention of publication malpractice is an important responsibility of editorial boards. The journal does not accept any form of unethical behavior and does not tolerate plagiarism in any form.
For Editors
Based on the review report from the editorial board, the editor has the right to accept, reject, or request modifications to the manuscript. The editor was responsible for each article published in the Journal of Nutrition and Health Insights. Editors should evaluate the manuscripts objectively, regardless of the authors' nationality, ethnicity, political beliefs, race, religion, gender, seniority, or institutional affiliation. Editors should decline their assignments if there are potential conflicts of interest. The editor's decision should be accompanied by the reviewer's comments, unless inappropriate or defamatory statements are made. The editor and staff must guarantee the confidentiality of the submitted manuscripts.
For Reviewers
The reviewers should comment on ethical issues, potential research, and publication violations. They were also responsible for completing their work on time and maintaining the confidentiality of the manuscript. Reviewers should not accept a review if there are potential conflicts of interest between them and the authors.
For Authors
The authors should ensure that the submitted material has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal. Authors must guarantee the originality of their work and not engage in plagiarism or self-plagiarism. All listed authors have made significant contributions to the research and agree with the final version of the submitted manuscript. If significant errors were found in the manuscript, the authors reported them to the editor immediately. Conflicts of interest, whether related to funding, consultants, or intellectual property rights, are described in the manuscript.

Plagiarism Policy
The Nutrition and Health Insights Journal does not tolerate plagiarism in any way. Each submitted manuscript will go through a plagiarism check before entering the peer review stage The standard limit of similarity value has been set based on the indexing engine, namely Turnitin or iThenticate of <25%.
Ethical Approval Policy
All research involving humans or animals was approved by the relevant research ethics committee before data collection began. The authors must include proof of ethical approval for the submitted manuscript.
